Welcome to the Smart Coast Initiative

The Smart Coast Initiative (SCI) at the University of Texas at Arlington focuses on participatory and cross-disciplinary research and design projects in the field of climate resilience of the built environment. The primary aim of the SCI is to co-create urban futures, adapting cities and communities to climate change.
